How are BlissBomb donuts different from other donuts?
A: We set out to make a better donut. One that is small enough to try all your favorite flavors. We found that most donuts are simply soft and sweet, lacking in true, full-bodied flavor. Here’s how we make a better donut:
Where is BlissBomb located?
A: We’re in Manhattan's Garment District very near Times Square and Midtown. The BlissBomb bakery is located at 335 W. 38th St., 11th Flr., NY, NY 10018. Just buzz us and we'll bring your order down to you.
Why did you name the company BlissBomb?
A: The name inspires us to make sure there’s a burst of delicious, mind-blowing flavor in every bite to bring a little joy to your day. Our donuts stand out for their intense, full-bodied, evocative flavor. And since we're all about celebrating people who bring joy to our lives, we liked how the name inspires people to "bomb" someone special with "bliss."
Why did you start BlissBomb in NYC?
A: You go where the talent is. Our executive pastry chef lives in Brooklyn and blew me away with her flavor intuition. She left Milk Bar to get BlissBomb off the ground, so she’s got the flavor, baking and shipping skills to make this business a success.
Why did you start the company?
A: I was working for a multinational PR firm and managing teams of people in offices across the country. I realized my best days at work were those when we were killing it as a team – when we were feeding off each other’s creativity. I believe we’re at our best when we’re connected to people who enrich our lives and help us show up as our true selves. I found it incredibly difficult to find creative, delicious, memorable treats to send my team to acknowledge their hard work and celebrate their wins. So I wanted to create a treats brand that makes it easy to recognize and celebrate the important people in our lives fun flavors in a joyful package.
Why did you decide to make donuts?
A: Donuts are inherently joyful – round, bouncy, delicious and fun to eat with your hands. After trying MANY donuts, we saw an opportunity to make a better donut, and make it more accessible with nationwide shipping. So many products in the edible online gift category – and in the donut industry in particular – are prioritizing softness, sweetness and color over truly distinct flavor. With BlissBomb donuts, we have three layers of opportunity to create amazing, intense flavors – in the base donuts, the glazes and the toppings.
We also wanted to make the brand about more than just donuts. It’s about celebrating the people and experiences that bring you joy. And looking for those opportunities to create mini moments of joy with the people around you.

How and where do you sell your donuts?
A: We built the company, and more importantly the products, to be multi-channel. We offer nationwide shipping in a beautiful gift box with your choice of 12 flavors and choice of a hand-illustrated greeting card for your personal message. How big are BlissBomb donuts?
A: They’re the perfect size for a guilt-free indulgence. They measure about 2.5 inches in diameter. You’ll get 3-4 bites from each BlissBomb donut. The perfect size to try all your favorite flavors.
Are BlissBomb donuts real donuts, since they’re not fried?
A: BlissBomb makes real cake donuts. We re-engineered our donut recipes to make our baked donuts look and feel like fried cake donuts. But they have a bigger flavor because there’s no frying oil overpowering the ingredients.
Why do you bake your donuts?
A: A fried donut absorbs up to 25% of its weight from oil, which masks the flavor of the ingredients. We bake our donuts to allow the ingredients to come to life creating full-bodied base donut flavors.
How much alcohol is in your donuts?
A: Only a few of our donuts contain alcohol. The alcohol makes up less than 5% of the total weight by volume.
Alcohol is used as a flavoring and, as with any product that contains alcohol: (i) women should not consume alcohol during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects, and (ii) consumption of alcohol impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery, and may cause health problems. Product contains alcohol up to 5% by volume. Product cannot be sold to or consumed by any person under the age of 21. Sale of the product to individuals under 21 years of age is prohibited.
How many calories are in your donuts?
A: The average calorie range is 150-180. That’s half the calories in a basic glazed chocolate cake donut at popular chain donut shops.
How much sugar is in your donuts?
A: On average, about 20 grams. That’s half the sugar in a basic glazed chocolate cake donut at popular chain donut shops.
How much fat is in your donuts?
A: On average, about 7 grams. This is about a third of the fat in a basic glazed chocolate cake donut at popular chain donut shops, mostly because our donuts aren’t sitting in frying oil while they cook.
How many grams are your donuts?
A: On average, about 45 grams. That’s about half the grams in a basic glazed chocolate cake donut at popular chain donut shops.
If I have food allergies, which donuts can I eat?
A: All of our donuts contain wheat, flour and eggs. Some include nuts, and a few contain a bit of alcohol.
Do you have any gluten free donuts?
A: We don’t make gluten free donuts at this time, but we are working toward that in the near future.
Are your donuts vegetarian or vegan?
A: They are vegetarian but not vegan, because we use eggs and dairy. We plan to develop vegan donuts in the future.
Are your donuts kosher?
A: No, they’re not certified kosher.

What happens at your donut decorating parties?
A: Donut decorating parties can be done via Zoom or in person. Kids love these parties, and they leave with their own donut creations in a pastry box that they decorate, so they can give the donuts as a gift or share them with their friends and family. With their choice of donut, glaze and topping flavors, kids create six donuts of their dreams on their own baking pan. Since people aren't gathering for parties, how can we decorate donuts?
A: We turned the parties into a mini donut decorating kit that can be sent anywhere nationwide. The kits include 6 vanilla and 6 chocolate mini donuts, 3 flavors of soaks to add moisture and flavor to the donuts (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry), 3 flavors of glaze (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry), 4 types of sprinkles/toppings and 1 pastry box that kids can decorate to hold their donuts or give them as a gift.

Where can I buy BlissBomb donuts for nationwide shipping?
A: Click here to send a BlissBomb gift box anywhere in the country. We don’t ship internationally.
When will the donuts arrive?
A: We use FedEx and UPS shipping, which arrives in 1-2 days anywhere in the U.S. 2-day orders received late Thursday or Friday will ship the following Monday, unless the customer would like to pay for expedited delivery. Please note that all shipping companies have alerted us about possible delays in package arrivals due to Covid-19. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
How do the donuts stay fresh during shipment?
A: BlissBomb gift boxes ship with a frozen pack sealed inside an insulated cool pack envelope to keep the donuts fresh during shipping.
How are BlissBomb donuts protected during shipping?
A: We created a custom-designed tray that the donuts sit in, with a protective pad on top, to keep them secure during shipping. They are enclosed in a luxe gift box, which we encourage people to use after the donuts are gone to hold items that bring them joy every day, from their favorite ink pens to photos of friends or thank you notes they’ve received from colleagues.
How long will the donuts stay fresh after they arrive?
A: If you leave them covered and at room temperature, they will stay fresh for 2-3 days after opening. If you store your BlissBomb donuts in the freezer, they will stay fresh for up to two weeks. Remove the flavors you want to eat from the freezer 10-15 minutes before enjoying your donuts.
How do I change my order?
A: Orders that have already been packaged for shipping can’t be changed. But you contact us at customerservice@bliss-bomb.com to see if your order has been shipped.
How many donuts should I order for a group?
A: We recommend 2-3 donuts per person.
Can I place an order for more than a dozen?
A: For nationwide gift box shipments, you can order in boxes of 12. Gift boxes going to different addresses must be ordered individually.
Can I specify a particular delivery date?
A: Yes. Please email us at customerservice@bliss-bomb.com if you'd like to specify a particular date for your gift box to arrive. You will receive a confirmation email after you place your order, and you can reply to that with delivery date information as well.
How can I track my order?
A: If you include your email with your order, you will receive a tracking number, which you can use with the delivery service to track your package.
Do the donuts arrive with a receipt?
A: No, the recipient won’t see a receipt or the price of the donuts.
What if the donuts arrive damaged?
A: We take every precaution to prevent this from happening. Please see our return/refund policy if you believe our 3rd party delivery/shipping partner damaged your shipment.
